Vae Victis Barbell Club – aka OLY Program

It’s time for the Vae Victis Barbell club!  Starting Sunday, April 12th we will be instituting a full Olympic Weightlifting Program at CrossFit Vae Victis. These sessions will be held 3 times per week and will focus on skill development in the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. Each session will run for 90 minutes and will include different variations and complexes of these lifts as well as accessory movements to help fine tune certain areas of weakness.

These classes are suited for all levels and for any members interested in spending more time perfecting their Olympic lifts under less time constraints, and also for those who are interested in competing in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. We will announce registrations for all upcoming local weightlifting meets for those interested in the future.

These sessions will be held on Sundays from 12-2 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8:30 pm. Each day will include a full set of programming and athletes should consider this a full class and manage their workout schedule accordingly as the program will run separately from regular CrossFit classes.

All classes are open to any member regardless of what type of membership you have. For members with 2x and 3x week memberships, each class would count toward your allotted number of classes per month.

For anyone interested in participating strictly in Olympic Weightlifting classes, please contact us to set this up. Olympic Weightlifting membership price would be the same as our 3x week membership – $140, but additional programming would be offered to each individual as part of this membership.
